Can the creativity needed for beading sap my ability to write?
The beading frenzy has continued unabated, but I am struggling with descriptions for the pieces.
I know the names of the beads and the stitches used, but can't seem to come up with witty words to paint the pictures verbally.

Blue Spiral N'debele

This bracelet looks nice, but doesn't really wear well.
The beads are size 6 and size 11s in both silver lined clear and blue. The body of the bracelet is N'debele, with peyote stitched end caps. The loop is square stitching, with two brick stitch encased buttons creating the toggle clasp.
I will cut it apart and use the beads to make something else.
If jewelry isn't comfortable, it won't be worn.

My Diamond Bracelet
Since my budget will never stretch wide enough to include a diamond bracelet, I beaded one instead. Using copper, hematite and matte black delica accent beads I peyote stitched pearlescent white delicas into open diamond shapes that are connected with strips of square stitching. The center diamond is slightly larger than the ones on either side of it.
The toggle is a 2-drop peyote tube that locks into a 3-D beaded loop.

Graphic Shapes

A graphic bracelet beaded in opaque black and red seed beads. The square, circle and triangle segments are constructed in peyote stitch. The toggle is a dimensional triangle.
The ring is a peyote band with a peyote-stitched triangle as the focal point.
Right angle weave (RAW) is used to connect the three segments, but was not sturdy enough to connect the toggle. That is a point of greater stress and required the strength of a square stitch.

Faux Jade Donut Choker
The closure is adjustable since the crystals used for the toggle can be inserted into one of five different segments of the closure loop.
I am usually drawn to a more symetrical shape for necklaces, but this one just didn't work out that way this time. Each time I do something different and it works out, I feel so empowered.
