After more than 25 years in corporate America, I moved to the south coast of Jamaica, where I design & create beaded jewelry.
I install point-of-sale/inventory mangagement software for Jamaican businesses ready to convert to technology. I co-manage a mobile sound system, Rootsman International Sound.
I try to do that every day...I just didn't know I could only do it doing those hours! :-) Seriously, it is important to find things to care about and do what you can to further them along. Mainly I just try to love everyone. I find that when people are the hardest to love is usually when they need it the very most. I hope you are doing well and feeling stronger everyday. I keep you in my prayers still. Praying for a speedy and as painless as possible recovery. Be good to yourself.
That is a good one. I may not have the time, so I take this opportunity to wish you and yours a Merry Christmas. Christmas is not a time nor a season, but a state of mind. To cherish peace and goodwill, to be plenteous in mercy, is to have the real spirit of Christmas.... Calvin Coolidge Walk Good
Sistren Jules, If there were more folks who did it as a matter of course, there wouldn't need to be a sign like that at all. It was more for those who need to be reminded that the I-niverse does not revolve around them. Your healing prayers are an important part of my recovery, but please don't strike me off the prayer list once I am up and about again. I need your prayers I-tinually!
Sistren BetteJo, Once the idea really catches on, we can extend the hours!
Sistren Leslie, You just may incite a riot of compassion and then what would become of the world?
Idren Clay, Me, too! Just wish I could take credit for it.
Idren Morpheus, Glad you liked it. Blessed Love to you and yours thru out the Christmas season and the coming New Year.
Idren LunaticG, Not a real street sign. Just a pic I StumbledUpon and liked enough to share. Thanks for the visit and please stop by again soon.
Sistren Bongo, I hope your exams go well. Eat well, drink clean water and get lots of rest so what you study will stay in your brain. I am glad you are visiting again. I have only had the strength to bead two rings since my surgery and I haven't been able to get pictures of them to post yet. Every thing in the fullness of time.
I love you Lady Roots, I hope you know that. When the day gets long you are my happy thought to help get me through. I won't strike you off my list, not ever. I will forever have prayers of thankfulness if nothing else. Take care and get well soon. xo xo xo
Lady Roots, I was referred to a site for jewelry makers by a blog friend. I hemmed and hawed and finally went. I think you would love it. The people are so great...friendly and welcoming. The work is fabulous. So much inspiration out there. Check it out and let me know what you think, ok? http://www.jewelrygeeks.com/signup/friend_Jules/ I also set up a blog for my jewelry. I don't have my name anywhere on it at this point as, as crazy as it sounds, some people are just unkind with to much time on their hands. But I would love your opinion. www.sillybeadbugs.com I hope you are still doing well and feeling better everyday. Keeping you in my prayers and watching your blog for updates. Be good to yourself. xo xo xo
Sistren Jules, Thanks! I have come to depend on your prayers. This is the first time in my life that I ever fell in love with an entire family, like I have with yours. I am going to check out both jewelrygeeks.com and sillybeadbugs.com also. It may take a few days, but I will get back to you and let you know how I felt about what I saw.
Idren LunaticG, Yes, I have found so many great things via StumbleUpon. Because I only have access to a very slow dial up connection to the web, the video clips are not viewable for me. It can take 5-6 hours for a 10 minute video to download. I prefer the graphics and vegetarian recipes. Thanks for stopping by again.
